Matchbook upgrade this weekend

Jonathon Horsman Nov 01 0 comments

This weekend we upgraded Matchbook to the latest version which includes a few new features, some fixes and a change to the underlying framework.

We’ve introduced “engagements” which is how you can record meetings and tasks. We’ll shortly be adding metrics which will allow you to see how many calls and emails it took to win a meeting.

The settings page has been broken up into logical tabs to hopefully make it more intuitive.

There’s also a new facility on the settings page which allows you to upgrade your account and make payments through Google Checkout. This is going to allow us to list the application in the Google Marketplace and allow people to sign up and automatically create an account using their Google login.

Under settings there is also the transaction history which shows your history of payments.

Behind the scenes has been quite a major structural change where we are now running the latest version of the Ruby on Rails framework. We have tried to test the whole application thoroughly but if you find any bugs please let us know.

These changes are part of the ongoing work we’re doing to polish the application and make it available to a wider audience and expand our user base. There’s plenty more to come in the near future!
